Since 1973, Jane has been teaching private and group lessons for children and adults at her studio, and at the homes of local students. No previous musical training is required. She has lever harps and pedal harps available for rent to students. Jane teaches all musical styles, specializing in classical and orchestral music. She also teaches composition, arranging, improvisation and music theory. Jane offers recitals and harp ensembles for her students. Call or email for availability. 

Jane has a Master of Music degree in harp performance from Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. She has experience teaching the Suzuki Harp Method through Book II. Jane studied with Margaret Ling, Marilyn Costello, Alice Chalifoux, Jeanne Chalifoux, and Mary Kay Waddington.
